Who we are...

Nestled in the foothills of Western Maine, our family run farm and petting zoo offers our visitors hours of entertainment watching our furry and feathered friends frolic and enjoy the lazy days of summer.  What started as a hobby farm/homestead has evolved into an ever growing and changing lifestyle that we are now sharing with other folks as we couldn't keep all the fun to ourselves.  We also seem to have a soft spot for the rescues and many of our farm animals have come to us from not very good situations.   What you will see..

Meet Shamrock or better known as Rocky.  A 3 year old mini donkey who is one of three donkeys we adopted from a rescue in Texas who saves them from kill pens and livestock auctions.  Viola who is a standard donkey, came to us pregnant and she had baby Daisy in July of 2020.  Viola's son Duke was the last of the donkeys and he is just about 2 years old.  They came to us in the early spring of 2020 and were very skinny.  We have been working with our veterinary and other long time donkey owners who are guiding us in bringing them back to health.

Besides the donkeys, you will see a goat with only 3 hooves, geese with "angel" wings, some pigs who had a lot of weight to lose, and a menagerie of other farm animals who we have adopted along the way.  All are loved and are slowly building a new trust in us.  Please understand, some of the animals because of their backgrounds are for viewing only.  We try our best to respect their personal space and hope you will too.  Thank you.
